First things first — what's BizPod? We're Taylor's startup space. Free co-working spot on campus, plus the programmes, workshops, funding and mentors that help students actually start something. If you've ever thought "I'd love to build a business one day but I don't know where to begin" — this is the place you were supposed to find. Most students only find out we exist in their final year. We'd rather you find out on Friday. So come see it. No pitching. No "so what's your business model." Nobody handing you a name tag. Just free food, a look around the space, and a room full of people figuring this thing out at different speeds. Some are already building something. Some have an idea in their notes app they've never said out loud. Some genuinely have no idea yet and just want to see what the fuss is about. All three are exactly who this is for. And you really don't need to be a business student. Engineering, design, comms, med, law, hospitality — you're usually the exact person someone in this room is looking for. What's happening: Quick hello from the BizPod team (five minutes, we promise). Some intro prompts so nobody's stuck holding a plate alone. Then just talking. Plus a rundown of what BizPod actually offers and how you get in on it. Bring the friend who keeps saying they want to start something someday. This is literally that conversation, made easy.
